Introduction
Summer is a very hot season. I like the rainy season more than the summer season. But one thing that I would like to do this summer season is go to a summer camp. My friends go to summer camps every year. They told me that a summer camp is an amazing place. They sleep in tents and play a lot of games. Also, they make many new friends and enjoy playing games and doing different activities with them. I have asked my mother to take me to a summer camp. This summer, attending a summer camp is an important thing for me.
Adventures in Summer camp
My friends told me that there are various adventurous events like rope games, lake crossing, rock climbing, boating, rafting, and trekking which they enjoy with the teachers. I am too excited to go to the summer camp this summer and enjoy all these activities.
Fun Games
There are a lot of games played by the children who go to summer camps. Children play many games like tug of war, hide and seek, carom, badminton, cricket. I wish to play all these games and get better at them. They give gifts to the winners. I hope to win a lot of gifts and show them to my mother and father.
Swimming
In summer camps, they teach us to swim. I don't know how to swim. So, after going to summer camp, I will learn to swim and show my mother and father how nicely I can swim. My parents will be very happy to see me swim.
Campfire
Children are given tents, and they live in the tent in summer camps. I have always wanted to live in a tent. I have seen the movies in which small children live in tents when they go camping or on a jungle safari with their family. Also, at night they have a campfire during which many children sing songs, dance, tell stories, and also play dumb charades. They also have marshmallows.
Food
In summer camps, the children get to eat tasty food. They also teach kids how to cook. My mother doesn’t allow me to cook. She feels that I will hurt myself. I will learn to cook in the summer camp and show my mother that I am also capable to cook now.
Conclusion
Finally, this summer I will be going to the summer camp and have a lot of fun. I will learn how to swim and cook and make my mother and father proud. I will make new friends and take their phone numbers to stay in touch with them. I will have a lot of tasty food and win many gifts. I am happy that my mother and father have agreed to take me to summer camp this year — Thank you, Mom and Dad!
