The Best Place I Have Visited So Far
The best place I have visited so far is our church. That’s where we go for the weekly pot-luck, where all the adults hang out and have fun, and where I feel the most important because there are so many things to do, such as helping put out food and setting up folding tables and chairs.
One thing I also like to do there is stringing up paper chains that fall from these ceiling rafters. They must be a hundred feet in the air! I hope to finish all the chains one day, but it’s a challenge since some are missing pieces to link together properly.
Our Church
Our church is in a beautiful village, and it is surrounded by the beauty of nature. The church’s building is quite impressive. It has two big towers and one small bell tower.
The inside of the church is magnificent too. The main hall is painted with different colours, but red and yellow are the most prominent. These colours keep changing, giving the church a very different look, especially when the sun shines through it.
Our church has an organ, which is used during mass on Sundays. Listening to the organ music while surrounded by the colours of the stained glass windows gives me a magical feeling every time.
I was always happy to go to church when I was little because I thought that God was there too. I saw statues of Jesus and Mary teaching children in the temple. This gave me the impression that God cared about children and would help me.
I always like going to church because it makes me feel happier.
I love the atmosphere of our church. It is quiet, peaceful, and serene. The decorations around the church are simple but beautiful and add to the atmosphere of peace, serenity, and worship.
I love the simplicity of our church. Unlike some churches, which are filled with many things that distract people from worshipping God, our church is simple and rather bare, which makes me concentrate more on worship.
I also love how friendly everyone is in our church. Everyone is friendly and willing to help each other out in any way. I feel welcomed at our church!
