Persuade Us That Doing Homework Is Good/Not Good For You

Parents always teach children to become self-dependent so that they can do everything on their own. The first step school takes in this regard is giving students homework which will help them learn how to do their work independently.

Doing homework is good for us as we learn so many things, such as using different books, utilizing other sources, and using the internet for studies. When you do the homework yourself, you might face difficulty; therefore, it teaches you to get help, deal with frustration and come out of it positively.

So, let us have a look that will convince you why homework is good for kids-

·   It gives time to practice- The learning speed of every child is different; therefore, homework helps them practice what they learned at school. It gives them an understanding of how much they comprehended. If they are confused about the topic, they can go back to their teacher the next day and clear the doubts. This way, they will be able to learn the skills and get good marks.

·   Teaches responsibility- It develops a sense of accountability and commitment to complete the work in time. In school, you don't understand the value of finishing the work in time but inculcating this habit helps lifelong.

·   Time Management- The next important thing it teaches us is that complete our work in the given time; this way, students learn the art of time management. They know they have to solve the assignment within a specific time, so they manage their schedule accordingly.

·   Prepares them for exams- Homework help prepares kids for tests. For example, if you perform poorly in the assignment, it will give you insight into where you lack and the areas that need to be worked upon. So, it allows practicing on weak areas and performing better in the main exams.

·   Makes connection better- Just think, when you get an assignment and face some issues doing it, what will you do? You will talk to your parents, siblings, teachers, and friends for help and assistance. The better support you get, the more are the chances to perform better in assignments and exams.

So, I take homework positively, not as stress or a burden. It teaches me the importance of planning, staying organized, and taking action.
